We're coming home from the hospital around the middle of the day today. Excited to get settled in at home. Here are a few quick shots to start the day.
Nicole was showering one day so we left Sawyer in the hospital bed, doing what he does best: snuggling. Dare I say he even has a small smile?
I love this one of Nicole. This is her expression, on the operating table mind you, after meeting Sawyer.

Siena holding her baby brother for the first time. It looks like she loved it, but she was only interested in him for a brief moment before wanting to run around the hospital halls. During our adventures she fell in love with applying the antibacterial gel to her hands and mine as well as sipping from every drinking fountain we could find.

O my gosh, you all are just precious. Sawyer is darling and smiling already?? Well look at Nicole and her big smile. Now you guys know there is room to love more then one. Amazing and so blessed. Thanks so much for the pictures. It's so good to see you all so happy and beautiful.

I love him! The first pic is beautiful and you're right, Erik, Nicole looks stunning in that picture (can't believe she's on the operating table!!) I'm sure Siena will be a wonderful big sister. Hope all is going well at home! We're thinking of you.

You are a radiant Mom and baby! :-) we only have a few weeks until we add number 2...and for the record, I cried reading your post to Siena...its hard to think it will never agin just be the three of us in only a few weeks! I just love, love, love all these pictures. Nicole, you look so happy to meet your son (and your skin looks flawless, by the way). He is adorable sleeping in the hospital bed.
