Visitors

A lot of firsts yesterday (6.28.07):

Siena had visitors, and they all loved seeing her and holding her.
She met Charlie
She pooped
She slept a few hours in a row, Yes!

All great things. It's been so fun to see her change over the course of two short days. Nicole and I are so lucky to have such a sweet little angel.

One could argue this is a half smile, mommy was probably holding her

Siena in her crib, you can see her stats here too

The Svendsen family, a little weary after two days, but loving little Siena

The real housewives of El Segundo. Nicole is holding Charlie and Carrie is holding Siena

Siena and Charlie. Charlie looks like such a big girl (~9 lbs) next to our little five pounder. I think Charlie is flashing a gang sign. Oh, those LA girls...

New dads swapping delivery stories

The visit culminated with a celebration toast. Here's to Siena

Great pictures. Glad to see Charlie, haven't seen her since she was born. Not real blog updaters so I'll watch for pictures from you. Siena is getting cuter and cuter, hard to believe one can get cuter. Since she is 21" long I'm sending you two 40" x 40" swaddling blankets. Althougth she'll get lost in the width of the blanket, at least her feet will stay swaddled. Joy being sent your way. Wish I could send you sleep, but it's part of the initiation to parenthood.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you...
for all the beautiful pictures of the Svendsen family. Baby Siena is precious. I can't wait to hold her. One can see how she is changing everyday! And yes, I believe she is smiling in two pictures - with Grandma Sylvia and also this very new picture. And that's because she knows she was born to two very special, loving and beautiful parents!!!
Love,
Grandma & Grandpa Svendsen
