When you are on a budget...

So last Sunday, we bought a bookshelf from Cost Plus. Last night
we were going through our receipts for our budget and then cut up all
the receipts. Today, I ran into Cost Plus for fun and saw that our
bookshelf was on sale so I asked if we could get the difference back
and she said only within 10 days of purchase and with a receipt (today was
the 10th day)I ran back home to see if I could find its pieces to tape back together...

And this is what I had to look through to find it...I found all
8 pieces and taped them back together. Despite being
totally embarrassed to take it up the cashier, I did it
and got the refunded difference. What you'll do to stay
on budget!

How lucky that you happened to go into Cost Plus today! The hard wood floors look great- can't wait to see how everything looks all put together.

Great deal on the bookshelf. I checked out the website for wine racks on Sunday night and saw your bookshelf and thought you had gotten the sale price when you first bought it. That's an awesome deal!!!
