We asked Siena which animal she was most excited
to see and she said the zebras...so here
she is taking them in.
I have to admit most of the animals
looked sick, depressed, and were lying
around sleeping all day...I realized the zoo is
kind of a sad place.
Sawyer loved the petting zoo, Siena
notsomuch.

Our San Antonio Zoo was the same way. The animals were so old. I'm sure the kids didn't notice! My girls asked if the pic of Sawyer and Siena on the alligator was real. Poor Si, that goat is bigger than her, of course she was scared!!!

Did you go during the middle of the day, Nicole? The animals tend to sleep and are inactive when it's warmer out, I think.
I agree - the zoo is kind of a sad place. The lemurs and the flamingos always cheer me up because they are active - but for the rest... old and sad. I love the picture of the three of you - and the zebra picture is precious. Little peeping Sisi.
